the proposal
We decided to go on a cruise to the Caribbean in September (2009). The first stop on the cruise was in the Bahamas. After enjoying a full, relaxing day in the sun we had a formal night for dinner. Leading up to the cruise Greg insisted on having a formal photo shoot happen. Seeing as though we were both dressed up, Greg decided to get a photographer to shoot some pictures at sunset on the top deck of the cruise ship. After two pictures, the photographer gave him the signal. He said: "Steph, I love you." Then he got on his knees with the ring out and I said YES even before he could ask "Will you marry me?"
